Pandora’s Amphora
Client: Ducks In A Row Winemakers – Amanda & Glenn James-Pritchard
Awards: PICA Award 2012 (Print Industry Craftsmanship Awards)

“Pandora’s Amphora is one of the great wine packages. Amazing table presence. Glenn and Amanda have taken attention to detail to a whole new level: they interviewed three designers before settling on Jeremy Boyd. Everything Jeremy touches turns to gold awards. It’s a beautiful Saverglass bottle with a long cork, a wax seal and an inspiring message on a thin white ribbon. Some women are keeping the ribbon in their purses as a keepsake… The wax is from Canada… it’s the same colour and texture as a Milky Bar and it actually made my mouth water.”
– Anthony Maddigan, Editor Wine Business Magazine

“Jeremy is one of the best in the business. Professional, detailed and simply quite brilliant with ideas and bringing a concept to fruition. Jeremy’s work brought our “Pandora’s Amphora” to life and we couldn’t have asked for a better result. I have no hesitation recommending Jeremy.”
– Amanda Jane Pritchard, Owner Director, Kooki PR/Ducks In A Row Winemakers

d’Arenberg – Scarce Earth Shirz range
Client:
d’Arenberg Wines
Studio: Fuller
Rationale: A specific and quirky brief from legendary McLaren Vale wine maker, Chester Osborn – maintain the traditional d’Arenberg label elements (crest and red stripe) whilst incorporating a colourful abstract landscape depicting each wine’s point of origin. Additional to this, introduce a playful pixie to each label. A fun challenge indeed! Chester has often been referred to as the ‘pixie in the vinyard’ (that’s how the magic happens, after all) so the hint of a likeness of Chester in the pixie is certainly not coincidental. A series of five labels, each with unique landscape and pixie custom illustrations, was produced to represent some of d’Arenberg’s finest drops.

“It’s the best ersatz Spanish label since Karl Seppelt AO did the bulldust thing with his Bullamakanka in the ’70’s.”
